Honeymoon in Mauritius

We boarded at Fiumicino and took a flight of about 13 hours. We arrived at Port Louis airport and went straight to the resort in Grand Baie. Over the following days we began touring the island, by sea too. A visit to Île aux Cerfs with a stop in the lagoon and an excursion inland with lunch in the middle of the greenery. A visit to the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden. A catamaran trip in Tamarin Bay to spot dolphins. Between one excursion and another, plenty of sun, relaxation and rum — Mauritian, of course! A pity about the few hours of sunshine. Unfortunately it was winter, tropical but still winter.
