We made a real dream come true: visiting NEW YORK!!... and we discovered that it's really as beautiful as we expected and as it looks in the films. But let's start with the useful tips: - the MOMA is free on Friday afternoon after 4pm... and don't be scared by the huge queue you'll find at the entrance, because it moves very fast and lets you save the 20 dollars of the admission fee - METRO CARD: essential to travel for 7 days at the price of 24 dollars with unlimited rides - try the typical American breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon and don't miss the hot dogs cooked on street corners: they're delicious!! - don't lose patience over the long security queues at the airports and at the entrance to the main monuments: they'll ask you to walk through the metal detector countless times, to open your bags and sometimes even to take off your shoes....

these are the consequences of 9/11 - the metro lines have some express trains that don't stop at every station and others, local, that stop only at some - at MACY'S, if you go to the visitor centre with your passport they issue you a card with an 11% discount to spend in the store (to be continued)
