The story

First holiday in Turkey, the places we visited were lovely, the only big problem was the weather. On the Antalya coast, in the Beldibi area, towards Kemer, in August it's far too hot, 38-40° with 90% humidity; you're better off in the Po Valley. The trip to Pammukkale is lovely, although the pools are drying up because the water has been diverted to the hotels. Now they are trying to channel it back, otherwise the limestone terraces will turn yellow. The boat trip on a gulet to admire the coast and the ruins of the ancient city of Kekova is interesting. In Demre we discover that Saint Nicholas was Turkish. On top of that, on holiday in Turkey there was a Russian invasion; to give you an idea, the first week out of 550 people we were 4 Italians and 546 Russians.
