The story

With the aim of trying the low-cost flights departing from Forlì, our home, on Friday 24 we set off at 21.00 heading for Barcelona. Cost of the flight about 90 euros return for 2 people!!! hotel booked through HOTEL ANETO, located on a street off the Rambla near the La Boqueria market. Flight all fine, we arrive in Girona where the coach is already waiting to take us to Barcelona, about an hour of travel and here we are at the station. We take the metro heading for Plaça Catalunya and here we are in the centre...a 10-minute walk and we find the hotel. We decide to stop straight away given the tiring day behind us, to be fresh on Saturday...

Saturday morning we begin the visit starting from the Boqueria market (worth visiting); after a good breakfast we set off along the street of the EIXAMPLE district, unique in its kind and truly fascinating...we walk the whole of GRACIA street and then turn towards the Sagrada Família. then we headed for the seafront for a lunch in the sun on the new pier. a bit of relaxation in the hotel and then out to do a bit of shopping in the streets of the old town...aperitif and dinner in the streets off the Rambla, Carrer de Ferran. a stroll after dinner along the Rambla full of people and street artists. Sunday morning, we get up sluggish from Saturday's steps...

but we decide not to give up visiting Park Güell, so metro and a long walk, uphill too...but when we arrive the park repays our efforts..truly a magical atmosphere! We go back to the Rambla to grab a bite, go to the hotel to pick up our bags and head for the bus station to go towards Girona. the flight departs around 16.00. An intense but special weekend...we rushed around a lot, we didn't go in to visit the various attractions, but the taste was beautiful and we'll certainly return.
