Easter 2010 on the Amalfi Coast and Capri

On Easter Saturday we set off from Forlì and, following the E45 road, we reached Rome Orte, then the motorway and our first stop Naples... an excellent lunch in a small, very modern trattoria "Olio Sale e... Pepe" in the centre of Valmontone. We got off at Naples for a scenic stroll through the Posillipo district. Then we took the motorway again heading south toward the coast; we exited at the first sign for the Amalfi Coast, crossed a mountainous landscape and emerged at Ravello... from there heading to Maiori... we had booked the Hotel Villa Pandora online... stunning!! Great view, right on the cliff over the sea, and it was clean and recently renovated... the hotel is on the very narrow road heading south after Maiori... in 10 minutes you reach Amalfi and there, in the centre, we had dinner on Saturday evening...

Easter Sunday a day trip to wonderful Capri, back with a slightly rough sea, and dinner in Amalfi at the port... On Easter Monday, unfortunately, we set off again....
