The story
After spending a week in Tenerife we arrive in sunny Fuerteventura. Before us stretches the blue of the sea, as endless as the almost always deserted beach of the Jandia peninsula. The expanse of Sotavento is stunning, the interior is thrilling, barren and inhospitable apart from a few small towns (don't miss Betancuria). It's the most beautiful sea in the Canaries, islands of eternal spring where in August you can lie on the beach without an umbrella and sleep at night without air conditioning.
