Ibiza, August 2005: you expect a horde of clubbers storming this fetish island, a distant memory of a land outside the capitalist and evolved world, a return to the origins, like a second age of the flower children..and instead you find yourself before a marvellous little island, very green, adorned by crystal-clear sea with stunning tones, a joyful "marcha" and a pleasant, libertine atmosphere. Ibiza, from last bastion of the hermit seclusion of those who don't accept the conditions and restrictions of this world, to land of conquest for Italian holidaymakers, but also for a cheerful, young and truly sparkling avalanche.
From the clubs of Eivissa to the famous Café del Mar in Portmany, from the lovely eastern beaches to the green hills of the interior, from the hippy market to its taverns serving island cuisine, from breathtaking sunsets to the villas of rich northerners...in short, it's not a stereotype, not a cliché: Ibiza has always been and only means fun..and that's what we looked for and found. Happy Spain to everyone...
