The story

Arriving by bike from Badoere, a visit to the Mulino di Cervara is not to be missed. The Oasi di Cervara has its entrance right in the 14th-century mill. Surrounded also by the waters of the Piòvega, the mill welcomes the visitor with its history. The Cervara nature oasis has the shape of an island enclosed between the courses of the Sile river and the Piovega stream, easily reachable from Treviso, it is located in the territory of Santa Cristina, in the Municipality of Quinto. It extends over about twenty hectares, which have remained a marshy area, here the hand of man has not come to carry out reclamation works. Inside there are numerous spring pools (in the Treviso dialect: fontanassi) through which the waters that feed the marsh emerge from the subsoil and help give life to the course of the Sile. Entrance to the Oasis 6 €, with no discounts even for groups.

Near Badoere a stop to make with success is at the Agriturismo da Pino Teso, an excellent menu based on genuine, home-made dishes for only 22€.
