The story

Climbing up from Schio, thanks to its particular position jutting out towards the Vicenza plain, from the top of Monte Novegno you enjoy a boundless horizon. At the summit there is a small plateau, the "busa". Easy walks at altitude, often spotting a marmot or two. The area was involved in the events of the First World War; you can follow the trench route, well signposted and in an excellent state of preservation.
