The story

(161 km from home). A surprise for my birthday. There could be no better surprise than a weekend in a place I had had my eye on for some time. Spoleto is truly beautiful: small, quiet and relaxing like most of Umbria. Very beautiful is the Rocca, where it's incredible to hear that until a few years ago there was a prison in this spectacular structure: certainly one of the most beautiful places where one could be locked up by force! Very beautiful are the cathedral and the Ponte delle Torri. Splendid is the food, which I personally adore in all its forms and flavours. On the way back a small and pleasant stop on the shores of Lake Piediluco. Highly recommended. Bon voyage
