After a long period of work, we need a bit of holiday; this year we're going to Sicily. Our camper: a Fiat 238 petrol/gas fitted out by Leopard of Verona; it's a semi-integrated, small but with all the comforts. On the way out we drive all through Italy on roads and motorways; on the way back, from Palermo, we take the ferry that will bring us to Genoa in 24 hours, departing on time and arriving on time.
In Sicily, from Catania we did the whole coastal road as far as San Vito lo Capo; Tina will remember this town forever: from the campsite we reached the centre by bike, saw a pastry shop, decided to buy some pastries and celebrate in the camper; she leaves me her bike and heads to the shop; after quite a while, alarmed, I leave the bikes and go into the workshop too, and I see Tina comfortably seated, tasting ALL the types of pastries; then pedalling the whole way wasn't enough to burn off what she had wolfed down, it took a good purge.....
