During a spa cure in Sirmione, one day I took the boat and visited Salò. With the camper I was parked in the Baldo car park, near the historic centre and therefore close to the little harbour where the boats leave from. Departure at 9.43, return ticket € 19.60; terrible weather, it isn't raining but the sky is leaden and the photos, even if correctly exposed, are awful. The boat hugs the coast and makes stops at Peschiera, Bardolino, Garda and Salò, where I got off. Salò is a town in the province of Brescia in Lombardy. Of Roman foundation, Salò was, between 8 September 1943 and 25 April 1945, the seat of some ministries of the Italian Social Republic (known for this reason as the Republic of Salò).
