A Sunday in Verona

And finally... after so much rain... the sun arrives! And of course it's too hot (these Italians, always complaining...)! The itinerary described is for those who have little (very little) time to devote to visiting this splendid city! You park around the Arena, ready to welcome the start of the opera season; indeed outside you can see the huge stage sets ready to be installed in the Roman amphitheatre. From one alley to another you reach Piazza delle Erbe, the Palazzo della Ragione, the Scaliger Tombs, the Duomo and finally the Adige in the Ponte Pietra area. Just the time to refresh ourselves with a granita in Piazza Brà and the Sunday outing is already over... sigh!
