A mountain hike. Leaving the car at Passo Rolle, you climb towards the Tognazza ridge surrounded by spectacular scenery: the Pale di San Martino, the Castelaz and, in the distance, the Marmolada and the Tofana di Rozes. You venture among the trenches of the Great War, climbing up to the Piccola Cavallazza (m.2310), with a rocky tower hollowed out by caves opening onto the slopes, from which you can glimpse wonderful panoramas. From here you admire the Cavallazza lake while climbing towards the summit of the Cavallazza (m.2324). You then descend along a steep gravel path, barely marked, to reach the little lakes of Colbricon and the refuge of the same name (be sure to try the yogurt with berries here, a real treat!). From the refuge, an almost flat path leads back to Passo Rolle.
Looking back and discovering you have made it all the way up there gives satisfaction even to someone like me who loves everything flat. For more information see

fantastica l'escursione che hai fatto, peccato che la mia età e le mie gambe non mi permettono più di godere certi panorami da sogno. ciao da Mario Cappellesso
