Forni di Sopra, a tourist village in Carnia where the holiday becomes unforgettable, the family finds ideal relaxation, walks through the woods let you savour the most authentic and ancient scents, where the snow caresses you in a soft embrace... "Beautiful among the most beautiful", as the C.A.I. academic Berti defined the Eastern Dolomites, at whose feet lies Forni di Sopra, in an open basin rich in pastures and woods. A tourist resort since the early years of the century, it is the ideal bridge between Carnia and Cadore, close to the Mauria pass which unites, more than divides, the two Alpine sub-regions. Situated at an altitude of 900 m above sea level, it embraces the Eastern Dolomites, at whose feet Forni di Sopra is enhanced with all the typical features of the highest Alpine zones, with an abundance of spruce woods that give the air a high degree of healthiness.
