A weekend in Arezzo, taking advantage of the first spring sunshine. We park the car just outside the walls of the medieval city, a lovely walk in the historic centre, admiring the Basilica of San Domenico, the Pieve di Santa Maria and the church of San Francesco. The city is very lively, with a pleasant up-and-down of little streets. From here we continue to Anghiari, a small medieval village where time has truly stood still. For the night we booked the Relais Oroscopo on Booking.com, just outside Sansepolcro. The next day we head towards Monte Santa Maria Tiberina, a hilltop village, and then to Monterchi, to go up as far as Caprese Michelangelo, the village where Michelangelo was born. On the way back, a stop at Bagno di Romagna
