We decided to take a day trip out of town and, considering how close it is, we opted for the Certosa di Pavia. It's magnificent, worked with obsessive care using the most precious materials. The tour is guided and it's important, as soon as you enter, to head towards the altar for the grouping of visitors because the tour has a limited number of places. It includes a visit to the Certosa in almost its entirety, including the Refectory, the various cloisters and the enclosed cells. For those who want to take home a souvenir, there is the chance to buy products made by the monks in the special shop at the exit. The visit is a must for its artistic wealth and to learn a little piece of our History.
