Having arrived in this town, all a bit haphazardly, the signs aren't all set up yet, so it was problematic to find the parking. In the afternoon, the welcome from the city authorities with a small refreshment, an interpreter translates for us the story about the history of this small town
Visit to the town with its historic center, characterized by its half-timbered houses. For Mainau, you take the ferry, visit to the botanical garden, with its countless beautiful plants and flowers, in a greenhouse with a temperate environment among tropical flowers and plants, hundreds of butterflies of many colors live out their brief lives. In the following greenhouse there are multicolored varieties of orchids, all beautiful. In the afternoon we visit Constance, unfortunately the bad weather keeps chasing us, it doesn't rain but the sky is overcast, a beautiful small town, very lively
From the parking lot on the outskirts of the city, you take a red train that will take us into the center. First visit to the Zeppelin Museum, you can't take photographs inside, you see the famous airship in all its parts and its history and tragic end are narrated to us. Visit to the historic center, surrounded by modern buildings and monuments, along the lakeside we reach the restaurant where there will be the Easter lunch organized by our club in collaboration with the local club, a German menu that most of the diners didn't like.
Instead of entering the actual campsite, they have us park in the grassy field in front, after so much rain it's reduced to a mud pit, before settling in several campers got stuck. By bus we reach the historic center, we stroll and reach the entrance of the port with its lighthouse.
Cursing, we get out of the mud and each on their own makes their way onto the highway for the return home
