Visit to Legoland For anyone who, like me, grew up in the 70s/80s without a PlayStation and so on, Lego was the most fun toy. You could give free rein to your imagination and create anything. Designing houses, building vehicles that actually worked (a little motor had come out too, but the driveshaft and so on all had to be built) was truly demanding and sociable, because you'd get together with your cousins to expand the range of bricks and to study new solutions together. It is with Lego that the engineers, architects and so on that you find around today were formed! I don't know how widespread they still are today, but for nostalgics it deserves a visit. At the time of the visit I was 18 and I enjoyed it, like a dive back into childhood games, but on a grand scale.
You see constructions made with millions of bricks - what we would have wanted to do too if only we'd had so much material available! I took several photos, especially of the reconstruction of Europe and America; I'll add some soon.
Departure in the morning at 7 for Legoland, heading to Vijle, to Billund. At 9 we are among the first to enter. (entrance 380 Danish kroner) After 11, departure for Odense and a visit to the city. Parking turns out to be easy to find. Lovely streets full of young people. The main square and the cathedral of St Canute - it is the city of Odin and Andersen. At 18 the ferry at Nyborg (about 1 hour), camping at Ringsted 300 km
