The story
A short holiday in Yugoslavia to visit the Plitvice lakes Krka National Park is known for its waterfalls, formed by tufa beds and set in a lush, unspoilt landscape. Inside the park you come across small museums that illustrate the rural life of the early 1900s. You can cross it on foot along various paths and cross the lakes by electric boats or by equally electric-powered minibuses, all so as not to pollute this marvellous park.
