The second time in Egypt

Our choice to return to Egypt for the second time was driven above all by the desire to admire the splendid seabeds of the Red Sea. Marsa Alam is the ideal place to devote yourself to diving and snorkelling. We stayed at the Kahramana Resort, an exceptional resort whose style fits well with the landscape it sits in and which faces onto an unspoilt coral reef. The reef is 100 m from the beach and is reached via a jetty. However, on the inner side of the reef, towards the beach, wonderful natural pools form where you can swim. The sea slopes gently, is crystal-clear and very warm. The Kahramana enjoys a very long beach, truly wide and well equipped. Beyond the jetty you are in open sea: we were lucky enough to swim with a sea turtle, with dolphins and even with sharks!!! We were able to admire rays, many butterflyfish and clownfish. The coral reef is of exceptional beauty.

We also went to Sharm el Luli (which literally means Garden of Allah), a magnificent protected beach where the sea has the characteristic of sloping gently, as does the coral reef. Truly enchanting! In Marsa Alam it is also worth going to Abu Dabab beach, where the reef, instead of running parallel to the shore, opens up like the mouth of a river and you can snorkel right from the shore. Here you have the chance to admire the famous dugong, a marine mammal now endangered, turtles and different kinds of sharks. Marsa Alam is a fantastic place where you can still admire nature as it is!
