After an intense but wonderful week on the Nile among temples, museums and pyramids, we treated ourselves to a week of relaxation in the sea of Sharm el Sheikh! After the Nile cruise, a week of total rest is almost mandatory... and so we did... we limited ourselves to sea, sun and relaxation!! We stayed at the veraclub Queen Sharm resort... I recommend it to everyone... it is very beautiful, the entertainment is not particularly intrusive, and the all inclusive is real.
Just one thing: the resort is very large and divided into two areas, the View area and the Beach area; the first is the newer part but is further from the sea (5/10 minutes on foot), while the second is older (but still well kept) and close to the beach; both have a restaurant and a large pool, but almost all the daytime entertainment takes place at the beach pool, so I advise anyone who wants a quieter week to go to the View (where you don't have to race for a sunbed by the pool...) while anyone intending to throw themselves fully into the entertainment activities is better off at the Beach, because you are definitely more involved!! One last tip... if they offer you the evening at Smaila's...
go!!!! It is the venue that Umberto Smaila opened in the largest resort in Sharm and if you like well-played live music it is truly worth it!!! As for the sea I must admit I was not particularly impressed... apart from the uncontainable wonderful variety of fish, the rest did not stay particularly in my heart... but you have to admit it... for now the Red Sea, in terms of value for money, is unbeatable:o)
