Excursion to Ras Mohamed marine park, magic lake, mangrove forest.

We had a wonderful time, although there are a couple of little tips we must give you. As our guide told us as soon as we arrived, wherever you go... there's a rip-off to be found... first tip: never drink cocktails with ice in bars outside the resorts..

The sea is truly wonderful, colourful fish everywhere, a spectacle to swim among them. It's very hot, you wake up in the morning at 30 degrees, so hat always on your head, sunglasses and above all high-protection sun cream, minimum 10, even if you're already tanned.

The city of Naama Bay was built especially for tourism; it didn't exist until 15 years ago, there are more than 250 hotels and tourist resorts, a kind of Las Vegas created specifically to entertain holidaymakers. Countless shops, pubs, discos, sushi bar cafés... there's even the famous Hard Rock Cafe with its Pink Cadillac.. in short, bring along some money for the extras.

Watch out for the excursions to Cairo; you pay for everything, both to see the pyramids and for the museum, so the 100 euros for the excursion that lasts six hours by coach are only to get to the parking area and see the pyramids from outside.

and now a few views..
