The story

Like most travellers who pass through Buenos Aires without being stressed by time, I treat myself to my day trip to Uruguay!!

You set off from the port of Buenos Aires with the super-fast BUKEBUS ferries for about 50 euros round trip and you can also do it as a day trip without necessarily sleeping on site.

Colonia is a magnificent colonial town protected by Unesco; it offers endless typical little bars and shops that make it pleasant to stroll through its narrow alleys and its buildings with balconies overflowing with flowers....a MUST for a day excursion from BA...and moreover, for those who collect them, a stamp in the Uruguay passport!!
