I still can't believe it.. mom and dad are taking me to the airport at Malpensa, where I will soon meet my travel companions.. I try to stay calm.. but it's difficult... it's the first time I've left alone.. my legs are trembling, I'm too agitated..

Once we arrive at Malpensa I immediately recognize Rossella, between one chat and another we check in and I keep thinking.. that in a very short while we will leave Italy, and therefore love, family and work, to rest and above all have fun.

Flight to Rio De Janiero with a stopover in Sao Paulo, departing right on time with TAM, the Brazilian flag carrier.

We arrive in Rio de Janeiro where Carmeliha, our guide in Rio, is waiting for us. A very cheerful and friendly girl, once all the luggage is collected... we get on the bus and cross Rio... dozing.. until we arrive at the Copacabana Hotel Mirador. The hotel is very comfortable, well equipped and above all has an unforgettable view over Copacabana. We have no choice but to try to sleep... and can't wait for dawn.. to start getting to know Rio.
