French Polynesia honeymoon

June 27, 2012 Early in the morning we head for the airport. On board a United flight we say goodbye to Las Vegas, bound for Los Angeles. Once at the airport, thanks to a free shuttle bus we reach the Tom Brady terminal, the Air Tahiti Nui check-in desk… French Polynesia, here we come!!! Already on board the plane you can smell the Tiare… the typical Polynesian flower. We land in Papeete at 10 pm with a typically Polynesian welcome, flower necklace and dancing to the rhythm of the ukulele, just long enough to catch a bus and head to the Hotel Tahiti Nui, booked in advance from Italy. The hotel is really very nice, well furnished and in an excellent position, just a few minutes' walk from the heart of the city, the port, the market and the typical little restaurants of Tahiti.
