The story

Lancaster is a beautiful little town where the world really seems to have stopped!!! The main activity is farming, so you see many farms run by the AMISH. These people don't know technology, don't watch TV, have no electricity and still travel by horse. During our visit we even met them on the road, but they don't like being photographed or filmed, so they show themselves little around. They dress simply... the women are beautiful with their little cap on their heads... In this part of America you breathe an air of tranquillity where life isn't frenetic... To have a laugh we decide that life here can't be all that bad; they certainly don't have the stress we do...

We visit the HANS HERR HOUSE, the oldest AMISH farm, dating back to 1719, and it's really well kept! We carry on to STRASBOURG, where you still see the little wooden houses with their buggies, and we visit an old station with a beautiful steam train... I really liked Pennsylvania a lot...
