The story

I basically made a stopover in Miami on my way back from Jamaica (see my other trip) and here I did the road-trip part... I rented a lemon-yellow convertible, like a real show-off........ and off along the Florida roads, reliving the thrill of the American road trip with the wind in my hair!! TOO GOOD!!!!!! I stayed 3 nights in Miami Beach, 2 in Fort Lauderdale, 3 in Key West, and then 2 more in Miami Beach. I really recommend you don't miss the drive to the Keys: you cross very long suspension bridges with the blue sea below, pass through little towns that look almost fake, they're so well kept, and all around you the lush nature makes you realise you're in the tropics.........even if you're in a yellow sports convertible driving along a typical American freeway.

The trip was wonderful both for the places we visited and for the particularly "spicy" nightlife of Miami Beach and Key West!!!! And if you're in Fort Lauderdale, don't miss a night at the Coliseum club.........scary good!!!!!!!! Bye and have wild fun in Florida!!!!! Max
