After nine years I've returned to London for the fifth time. I'll probably go back again. The museums, the historic sites, the parks make the capital of Great Britain one of the most 'amazing' and interesting tourist destinations in the world. The itinerary I followed is as follows:
5 August. Arrival in London on a Ryanair flight, 150 minutes late. Bus A51 to Liverpool Street and Premier Inn hotel in Euston 6 August. Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament, National Gallery. 7 August. Guard Mounting, National Portrait Gallery, British Museum I. 8 August. Saint Paul's Cathedral, Globe Theatre, Southwark Cathedral, Tower Bridge, Museum of London. 9 August. Columbia Road flower market, Spitalfields Market, British Museum II. 10 August. Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Marylebone. 11 August. Greenwich. Royal Observatory and National Maritime Museum. 12 August. The Parks. British Library 13 August. Westminster Abbey, Wallace Collection, Regent's Park. 14 August. Departure on a Ryanair flight, 60 minutes late.
The seven things I love most about London: - Character: buildings, taxis, buses, phone boxes, green spaces. - Traffic lights that protect pedestrians - The queue and following the rules - The free museums - The many parks - The clean streets - The British Museum The seven things I love least about London: - The high prices of public transport - The awful English food - The museums where you pay too much - The weather - The circus around the British Royal Family - The English ignorance of other languages - The London Eye
