The story

PARIS O DEAR On 8 July, in the morning, we arrived in Paris by train that had left Florence the evening before, and we departed from the Gare de Lyon on the 19th. The things we saw are the following: ITINERARY: 8 July. Notre Dame, Mosquée de Paris, Institut du monde arabe, Jardin des Plantes. 9 July. Tour Eiffel, Musée Guimet, Musée du Quai Branly, Musée de l’armée, Musée Rodin. 10 July. Jardin des Tuileries, Louvre, L’Orangerie, Musée du quai d’Orsay, Beaubourg. 11 July. Versailles, Promenade Plantée. 12 July. Musée National du Moyen Age, Panthéon, Sainte-Chapelle, Conciergerie. 13 July. Chartres: Cathédrale, église de Saint Pierre, église de Saint Aignan. 14 July. Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées, Marais 15 July. Porte Dorée, Musée de l’immigration, Chateau de Vincennes 16 July Butte Montmartre, Saint Denis 17 July Quartier Latin, Canal Saint Martin 18 July.

Saint Germain des Prés, Jardin du Luxembourg 19 July Departure We list the seven best and the seven worst things about Paris. It's certainly not the first trip to the French capital, even though a lot of time has passed. The best: 1. Green spaces. In Paris there are several parks and several green routes. From the start of the Promenade Plantée to the Château de Vincennes we covered 6 kilometres in the green. 2. Traffic lights at every pedestrian crossing are a reassurance 3. The métro connects every point of the city, it's fast and easy to use. 4. The Paris Museum Pass lets you save money and couper les queues 5. The cycle lanes and the rental bikes. 6. The Canal Saint Martin 7. The transparency of the high prices.

The worst: 1. The free-for-all noise of police cars, ambulances, fire engines and anyone wearing a uniform. 2. Les crottes des chiens. Everywhere. 3. The clochards. Harmless, but with a right to a roof. 4. The filth in the streets. 5. The new craze of everyone speaking English. 6. The petit déjeuner: same fare, double the Italian price 7. Prices in general.
