The story

AAAh, what a fairytale trip as usual.. but let's get straight to the tips: Return Alitalia flight on offer, ticket cost 180 euros Rome-London. As soon as we arrive at Heathrow airport we get the Oyster card for 1 week zones 1-2, and by paying 1 extra pound they let you get right into the centre from Heathrow, otherwise you have to buy a 4-pound ticket!..Don't change money at the airport, rather choose the exchange places in the centre, they give you more. We changed hotels twice, next door to each other; the first is the European Hotel, we paid 90 pounds for a quadruple room with English breakfast per night. The area is King's Cross, excellent for transport and for eating, there's everything, we were very happy; the other hotel next door is the Howard Hotel, we took a triple room at 60 euros per night without breakfast.

To see: Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Church, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, London Eye, Aquarium, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Sir John House, Shakespeare's Globe, Madame Tussauds wax museum, British Museum, National Gallery, Tate Britain and Tate Modern, Greenwich and Windsor Castle. For shopping lovers remember that in London there are always sales and they're real sales! Where you can get great buys is Oxford Street; take a look at Edgware Road and Queensway. For sportswear don't miss Lillywhites at Piccadilly Circus, and for markets you have Camden Market and Camden Lock, Covent Garden, Portobello. Areas not to miss: Soho, Notting Hill, Kensington, Park Lane, and the Harrods department store. To eat in London there's everything; a place where you eat very well is Bake&Cake at Edgware Road no.

350-352, take the Bakerloo line to Edgware Road station; this area is full of Arab-cuisine restaurants and various fast foods. From London we then decided to pop over to Paris to do some shopping and see Eurodisney again, so we took the Eurostar train that crosses the Channel and in less than 3 hours took us to lovely Paris; return ticket London-Paris-London 105 pounds per person. If you need more info contact me, also for other cities: Prague, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Hurghada, Cairo, Alexandria, Damietta, Ras El Barr, Venice, Padua, Verona, Tivoli.
