25. 07. 2001 Stockholm (SWEDEN) We've made friends with two Austrians: Phillip and Wolfgang. The visit to Stockholm was interesting. It's a big city full of monuments and statues recalling the days of the famous Vikings. We wanted to carry on to Oslo but in the end, because of the poor train connections, we decide to follow our new adventure companions up to the far north of Norway. To cold Norwegian Lapland! We'll have 19 hours of train ahead of us, so we rushed to stock up with a big shop in the expensive Swedish capital. How wonderful it is here. On a romantic, peaceful train, with friendly people like me, listening to Wolfy's favourite band, crossing unforgettable landscapes, endless lakes, dense, dark forests, and with the melancholy thought that this might be my last interrail, since I've visited almost all of Europe, I don't know if next year I'll still have any spark...

But for now let's enjoy these moments!
