We left from Parma airport and landed directly at Ibiza airport. It was the hot, indeed I'd say scorching, summer of 2003, so the VILLAGGIO COLUMBUS CALA TARIDA, with its tiny rooms and no air conditioning, wasn't the right choice of accommodation, but we had fun all the same... You just had to go down a few flights of stairs and we were right at CALA TARIDA beach... really beautiful... the sea changed colour depending on the time... it was really lovely... But the beauty of IBIZA isn't only the turquoise blue of the sea, it's the night... we also went to IBIZA town in the evening and I have to say the fun is guaranteed... there are lots of eccentric people advertising the local clubs and they're beautiful... we had a great time... We also went to the famous PLAYA D'EN BOSSA beach and it's really ideal for young people...
it wasn't very crowded also because we went in the morning and at that hour everyone was still coming out of the clubs, so imagine if they were coming to the beach... We also visited Sant Antoni, where it's hard to find Italians, they're all English... The biggest surprise of Ibiza, which is seen as the island of perdition, was to see so many families on holiday with lots of small children... well yes, IBIZA is ideal for everyone: YOUNG PEOPLE, CHILDREN AND ADULTS...
