The story

I organised the trip online, a flight with Clickair from Rome, a fantastic airline, cheap, 70 euros return, well organised and punctual; we stayed right in the centre - via Laietana - at the "Casablanca" guesthouse at only 28 euros a night each - a spartan, clean guesthouse, with friendly staff and in a fantastic location - the cathedral, the Rambla and Barcelona's main attractions are reachable on foot, moreover the metro stop is under the guesthouse. Barcelona amazed me, it's a wonderful city. The destinations were the classic Sagrada Família, Park Güell, the cathedral, Gaudí's houses, the port, the Rambla, the Picasso museum etc... In the evening Barcelona is very lively, there are lots of nice venues, and entertainment.

The Rambla is beautiful both by day and in the evening: the only flaw was the weather, in fact for a day and a half it rained, which limited the chance to fully enjoy the little time at our disposal. Anyway I've promised myself I'll return.

Augurando Liete Feste 2009-2010, saluto cordialmente. Giancarlo Lamberti
