Beautiful city, especially at night, very lively. Given the little time available we preferred to make a choice on what to visit. Gaudí's architecture is practically impossible not to see. It's everywhere, at times even too commercialised. Park Güell with Gaudí's house museum is absolutely a masterpiece, with its incredible and crazy gardens. You get there by metro, Lesseps stop and then on foot or by bus 92. Returning to the centre, on the Passeig de Gràcia, Casa Batlló. Entrance a bit expensive (16.50 euros!!!) but you can't do without it. The interior is something spectacular. Here Gaudí produced true masterpieces of architecture and engineering. But his greatest expression is visible at the Sagrada Família. A cathedral built from 1882 and still under construction. Here Gaudí ended his days, but his plans are amply visible.
The Cathedral with its internal cloister in the old part of the city is also very beautiful. The Rambla and its alleys at night are of incredible beauty, full of life and things to see.
