The story
In a camper around Bavaria to visit Ludwig's Castles: Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau, Linderhof, Herrenchiemsee. All very beautiful and absurd at the same time. Considering the era of their construction (1800) one wonders the meaning of so much splendor, aimed only at an imitation of the French period dominated by Louis XIV. The Garmisch-Partenkirchen area is spectacular. In particular Fussen on its beautiful crystal-clear lake close to the Alps and the Romantic Road that leads to the castles.
