And voilà... here I am, back on the site after neglecting it for a while!
Another "work" trip to visit the hotels in Andalusia; as usual I set off with the group of colleagues who sell Spain for Voyageurs du Monde in France... about a dozen of us... many of us already know each other, but most don't. As usual I find myself playing the foreigner among the group of French, though there's a Brazilian and a Portuguese who back me up.
Granada is the first city... truly beautiful... the gardens of the Alhambra really are worth it... even if it's horribly cold... we warm up with cerveza and sangria:)... then Córdoba, to me the most beautiful city of all, the most authentic... the true soul of Andalusia with its spectacular cathedral... an ancient mosque wrapped in a shell of Catholic cathedral... a real spectacle!!!
And then Seville, the true great city of Andalusia, with the beautiful 1912 EXPO area and all the pavilions of the various nations in perfect Art Nouveau style... and then of course the cathedral... and flamenco tablas and tapas bars and Iberian ham and sangria and cerveza!!!
what can I say but VIVA ESPAÑA!!!
See you soon for another "exhausting" work trip (the life of us travel agents is hard!!!)
