The idea of Seville at New Year's came to me when, for the July holidays, Mauro rejected my idea of Andalusia. "In summer you go to the sea to sunbathe, NOT to play tourist at museums"..A month later I had already booked the tickets: Rome/Seville with clickair, Iberia's low cost airline (without giving him any chance to choose!!! I was also ahead of the game with the hotel, in September I found a deal for the "Gran hotel Lar" a 4-star that surely deserves less.. Clearly, having booked so far in advance allowed us to spend a New Year's abroad in the name of "low cost" The holiday was short but intense, and the weather was on our side for the whole stay. The gardens of the Alcazar are stunning, but perhaps what truly enchanted us was plaza de Espana. Magnificent!!!!
