The Island That Isn't There...

.."Second star to the right and straight on till morning, then the road you find for yourself... it leads to the island that isn't there!"

Formentera had been "on hold" in the drawer of wishes since last summer. This year we didn't waste time on chatter and, my friends and I, in June we were already busy online looking for a flight and an apartment...And that's exactly how it's done: you buy the flight, then you find the apartment, and of course you hire a scooter. Reaching Formentera for us was really easy! Flight bought with Vueling.com (Milan-Ibiza) for just 10€+taxes!..In an hour and a half we arrived in the Caribbean (let me tell you, and I've already been to the Caribbean). The beaches, the sea and the colours of the sand and water of this island have nothing to envy. Some say that in Ibiza you have fun and others that in Formentera you relax. NOTHING COULD BE MORE FALSE!!!!! It had been ages since I'd had such a fun holiday. Sea&music and lots of chatter: that's the cocktail of this holiday.

A sea of people united by a single denominator: Having fun!!

..And so it was, by day and by night, between playa des Illetas&cala saona, between Blanco&Neropaco&Bananas... Never at the sea before 1 pm, to bed, as good old Lorenzo sings, never before six.
