The story
An imperial city criss-crossed by canals and rivers (the main one being the Neva) and linked by dozens of bridges, St Petersburg is an ancient grande dame who, among palaces and squares, seems unrealistically suspended in time.. The "Venice of the North" gives you a feeling of pleasant melancholy that will never be forgotten.
