The story
Wonderful Gdansk! After being completely destroyed in the Second World War, the city was rebuilt stone by stone exactly as it was; the centre is admirable for its splendid buildings and sumptuous streets: the Brama Wyzynna, the high gate of the city on the Royal Route, is very evocative. Not far from Gdansk there is Malbork Castle, built by the Teutonic Knights around 1200: imposing and well preserved, it's worth a visit....
