The story
We spent a few days in the heart of the Dolomites with breathtaking landscapes. The weather was good, we took some lovely walks. One day we went up by cable car to Col Rodella, where we were at the foot of the Sassolungo, Sella and Pordoi groups, and in the distance the Marmolada with its glacier, which shrinks more and more every year. At that time we were together with many tourists, both Italian and European. On the way home we passed through the Costalunga Pass, where we saw Lake Carezza. It was a lovely week far from the heat of our muggy plain, where I would have stayed longer........
