A Fishing Trip with Friends

once again only men who for a good twenty-nine years have been taking four days of relaxation from their respective wives to go fishing. When we began this adventure there were six of us, now there are twenty-three. We went to the Mastallone valley to a place where even eagles don't dare, at 1400 metres, in a hamlet where three people live. A wonderful place, tranquillity guaranteed, greenery, a beautiful stream but poor in trout in the upper part. Out of the four days we were there, we spent three of them under water, meaning it rained the whole time. But in the end some trout followed us home, the poor things.
