It's not our kind of trip but on the occasion of our 15th wedding anniversary we wanted to try a "family" cruise. Our 13-year-old son didn't pay, so we even allowed ourselves a cabin with a balcony. We set off from Savona and in one week we touched a different destination every day. We always went ashore on our own except in Tunis, and everything was perfect. The organisation of the whole cruise was exemplary, abundant food, cleanliness, efficiency in every service and extreme courtesy. The only flaw, if we want to find one, was that the season, despite 6 days of good weather out of 7, didn't allow us to fully enjoy the outdoor areas of the ship, mainly because of the wind. We still enjoyed the pools (the decks are closed off with movable glass panels) and the hot tubs....why complain!!! The week passed pleasantly amid dancing, shows, midnight buffets, entertainment and chatting.
We visited lovely places, some already known and others where we got an idea for a possible more in-depth visit to plan later. Our son, with the kids from the teen entertainment group, had a lot of fun, ending every evening in the disco. I'd say the experience was more than positive! Who knows.... whether the chance will come again........ Best wishes to everyone. Ilaria
