The story
We spent 3/4 days in Munich for New Year's. The historic centre is easily visited on foot. We had dinner in the famous beer halls, both Augustiner and HB, after a long and tiring "hunt for a seat". On New Year's Day, since everything was closed (museums included), we spent it at the Erding thermal baths, 45 minutes by train from Munich. They are the largest spa in Europe and include a water park, a truly large spa area and the spa and sauna area for naturists. For all tastes and all ages. Half a day was devoted to visiting the royal residence and the rest to churches, the toy museum, the Viktualienmarkt, squares and shops. With the warm season you can certainly enjoy the outdoor spaces more.
