The story

We took the ship from Piombino and in less than an hour we arrived at Elba... I was captivated by the green mountains plunging into the sea.... We stayed at the Isola Verde residence in Marciana Marina: a beautiful spot.... We went with my sister Simonetta and my niece Sara... Since we had our cars, every day we toured a new beach.... Fetovaia, La Biodola, Redinoce, Procchio, Capo S. Andrea, Innamorata, Spartaia, Pomonte, Capo Bianco (the bar came from the sea) and Spiaggia Sansone... The only beach I didn't like was the one at Porto Azzurro... For the rest they're all beautiful; the one I liked most of all was Capo S. Andrea.... We also visited the Napoleonic residence of San Martino... which, as an exile, I'd say wasn't bad at all... In the evening we did aqua gym in the pool.... The island can be explored very well... the signs are excellent....
