The story

We set off once more for our almost-week of skiing: Moena is a beautiful and peaceful spot... the only slightly annoying thing is the smell of smoke, as it's right on the road that goes to the San Pellegrino pass and other places... otherwise it's splendid... you can go skiing at Predazzo or at Alpe Lusia... the slopes are very nice and definitely within our ability... We stayed at the Hotel Fanes together with Roberta, Sandro, Lorenzo, Carlo and Francesca... We spent some lovely days skiing, taking walks around the village, swimming in the pool and above all eating a lot... even two portions of dessert for dinner.... We went back to Moena again in 2006, again with Carlo and Francesca, staying at the Hotel Rondinelle (I don't recommend it) because the slopes are really nice and it's also lovely to stop in the mountain huts to drink the famous Bombardino with whipped cream... so good....

We also went with the snowcat to eat at the hut in the evening and it was a lovely experience because the strawberry cream with cream there was very good too.... A bit merry, we managed to get home and to get up to go skiing the next morning even though our heads were a little heavy... Don't forget to buy the famous cheese called PUZZONE too... it's typical of Moena
