Tuscany - Val d'Orcia

The beauty of these valleys more than made up for the fickle bad weather of these days... With little time available I warmly recommend this tour: base at the wonderful Agriturismo Villa Nottola (a few km from Montepulciano) with fantastic Tuscan cuisine and a pool, and then Montalcino, the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Pienza, S. Quirico d'Orcia and Bagno Vignoni, the Abbey of S. Antimo, Montepulciano, Cortona and splendid Arezzo. One certainty: the medieval atmosphere of these villages will win you over!!
