The story

.....after so much, so much rain, a splendid glimmer of sun..... What better occasion, then, to go and see the great river Po, which has burst its banks…? We set off right away for the Dosolo area, and more precisely San Matteo delle Chiaviche; shortly afterwards the river Oglio flows into the Po. There, a little bridge built with boats connects the two banks of the river. Unfortunately our arrival was abruptly interrupted by the civil protection crews, since both rivers had already flooded, submerging everything they could…. The landscape was truly enchanting; a shame for those who found their homes under a couple of metres of water. After lingering in the area for a little while, we moved on towards Guastalla and Brescello to try to admire other little corners of our river….
