The story

We set off in the morning and head towards the area around Piacenza... The idea was precisely to visit some of those municipalities that then lead you into the Val Trebbia, so after countless food stops and otherwise we reach the microscopic hamlet of Coli, where we had booked our overnight stay. After breathing a little fresh air, we head to Bobbio for dinner and to visit and walk across the famous Ponte Gobbo. The next morning, after a lovely walk in the Piacenza hills and a bracing swim in the pool, we head for the hamlet of Sant'Agostino, where the sanctuary of the same name stands. Well, what can I say: a real village festival, where all the locals gather to spend a carefree day together. Carts turned into kitchens, tents and tables scattered among the woods, very rustic grills, wine and cakes, sweet and savoury, all homemade. A real delight for lovers of home-style festivals.
